July 2026 — frequency figures corrected
Several guides previously stated that the water eject tone ran at 165–175 Hz and that the dust cleaning sound was a 200–800 Hz sweep. Neither figure matched what the tool actually produces. The published values have been corrected against the tool’s own audio configuration: Water Eject Mode runs 150–220 Hz, Deep Vibration Mode 120–180 Hz, and Gentle Clean Mode 180–250 Hz, each as a pulsed tone rather than a sweep.
July 2026 — saltwater guidance corrected
Some guides previously suggested rinsing the speaker area with fresh water before running the tool for salt or sweat exposure. That advice has been removed. Adding water to a phone that has already been exposed can push moisture further inside. The guidance now says to power the phone off, wipe the outside dry, and see a qualified technician.
July 2026 — mode names and tool description corrected
Guides referred to a “Dust Cleaning Mode” and an “Ear Speaker Cleaner Mode”. The tool has three modes: Water Eject, Deep Vibration and Gentle Clean. References have been corrected. One guide also stated that Deep Vibration Mode used the phone’s haptic motor; it does not, and that description has been fixed.
August 2026 — volume instructions softened across guides
Several guides told readers to raise the volume to maximum, or press the volume button to full, before running the tool. That language has been replaced with the same safety guidance used on the rest of the site: raise the volume, but not to a level that feels uncomfortable. This affected the Hindi speaker-cleaner, dust-cleaning, and muffled-speaker guides, and the English “Why Is My Phone Speaker Muffled?”, “Speaker Dust Cleaning Sound”, and “Ear Speaker Cleaner Sound” guides. Two guides also gave precise, unsourced specifics presented as fact: a 45-degree tilt figure for side-mounted speakers, and a claim that water ejection runs at “full gain” relative to dust cleaning. Both have been replaced with general, non-numeric descriptions.
