This site exists in a category full of tools promising instant fixes. We have chosen a different standard, and it is worth stating plainly so you can hold us to it.
We do not publish success rates
How well a sound-based cleaning tool works depends on how much water or dust is trapped, where it sits, the phone model, and the speaker design. Any single percentage would be marketing rather than measurement, so we do not publish one.
We publish what the tool actually does
The frequencies quoted in our guides are read from the tool’s own audio configuration, not estimated. Anyone can verify them by viewing the source. Where we describe testing, we describe what was actually done — not a laboratory study we did not run. See our testing methodology.
We do not claim partnerships we do not have
No repair shop, phone brand or service provider endorses this site. We use no invented testimonials and no fabricated user quotes.
We hedge honestly
When something may help rather than will work, we say may. We do not describe the tool as completely safe, risk-free, or unlimited in use, because none of those claims can be supported across unknown devices and conditions.
We name our limits
This tool does not repair physical damage, corrosion, or water that has reached inside the device. It cannot clean the earpiece, because a browser cannot route audio to that speaker. We state these limits on the pages where they matter rather than burying them in a disclaimer.
We defer to manufacturers on safety
Where your phone maker’s official guidance differs from ours, follow theirs. For saltwater exposure, submersion or visible damage, we point you to a qualified technician rather than to our own tool.
Both languages meet the same standard
Our Hindi guides carry the same warnings, the same stated limits and the same hedging as the English ones. A safety notice that exists in one language and not the other is not a safety notice.
We correct errors in public
When we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and log it. Our corrections page lists what changed and why, including mistakes we made ourselves.
