This policy explains what information Fix My Speaker collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Fix My Speaker (getfixmyspeakers.com) is operated by Waqas Qureshi, based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. You can reach us at [email protected] or through our Contact page.
The speaker tool does not collect your data
The Speaker Water Ejector and Speaker Sound Test run entirely in your browser using the standard Web Audio API. No audio, microphone input, or device information from the tool is sent to our servers. You do not need an account, and we never ask for your phone model, phone number, or any personal details to use the tool.
You do not need to accept advertising or analytics cookies to use the tool. It works either way.
Information we collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, automatically records standard technical information for each visit, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is ordinary server behaviour used for security, diagnostics and performance. These logs are retained for 90 days.
Content delivery and security. This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request data in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices they use. We do not use analytics to identify individuals. Where consent is required in your region, analytics cookies are set only after you give it.
Comments. Comments are closed on this site, so we do not collect commenter names or email addresses.
Advertising
We intend to display advertising on this site through Google AdSense. Advertising is what keeps this tool free to use. This section describes how that will work; it will be updated when advertising goes live.
Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and IP address information to select, deliver and measure advertising. We do not control these third-party technologies, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google at any time through Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies through the Network Advertising Initiative and Your Online Choices opt-out pages. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may then work less well.
We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. Advertisers do not review, approve or influence our guides, our safety advice, or what we say about what this tool can and cannot do.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for three purposes: essential functions such as page caching; analytics, as described above; and advertising, once it is enabled. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only where you have given consent, in regions where consent is required.
We do not load web fonts from a third-party service. Our fonts are hosted on this site, so no external font provider receives your IP address.
Consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies or serving personalised advertising, using a Google-certified consent management platform. You will be able to change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in our footer.
Author profile images
Our author information references Gravatar, a service operated by Automattic, for the author profile image. If your browser loads that image, Gravatar may receive your IP address.
Data sharing and retention
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make this site work: Hostinger for hosting, Cloudflare for delivery and security, Google for analytics and advertising, and Automattic for author profile images. Server logs are retained for 90 days. We do not build user profiles and we do not maintain a marketing database.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected] or use our Contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
Because we do not collect names, email addresses or accounts, in most cases the only data associated with you is a server log entry and cookie data held by the services named above.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We have configured our advertising so that this site is not treated as directed to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If we materially change how we use your data, we will ask for consent again where required.
